The author of this august blog, Dave Rogers, is a sometimes-teacher and sometimes-programmer living alongside the edge of the known world: Whitehorse, Yukon.
Dave has taught various computer and programming courses for Yukon College, a lovely edifice sitting atop a lonely hill directly in the oft-haphazard flight path of aircraft heading for the Whitehorse International Airport.
Following each subsequent layoff from the College, Dave offers random programming services as the principal of the inaptly-named yukon dude software.
Let’s see, what else. Raised in Ottawa; schooled in Kingston; careered in Toronto; and then — so completely sick of Ontario — relocated beyond the 60th parallel.
